Our Mission
Our mission is to honor and support Veterans, First Responders, and the Families of our Fallen Heroes by providing therapeutic, ocean-based fishing experiences and outdoor community events that promote healing, connection, and mental wellness.
We believe time on the water, shared experiences, and peer support can create meaningful moments of relief, clarity, and strength.
Veterans, First Responders, and Gold Star Families carry an invisible weight that often goes unseen. The mental and emotional toll of service, sacrifice, and loss can be overwhelming—and too many face these challenges alone.
As the son of a fallen officer, the son of an Army Veteran, and a First Responder himself, our founder understands firsthand the importance of support, connection, and community.
The Manuel A. Gonzalez Jr. Foundation was created to ensure that no hero and no family feels forgotten or isolated.
What We Do
Therapeutic Fishing Experiences
We organize day trips and overnight fishing charters that provide a peaceful, healing environment focused on mental wellness, camaraderie, and connection.
Peer Support & Camaraderie
We build strong bonds through shared on-the-water experiences that foster trust, connection, and peer support.
Family-Focused Healing
Our programs welcome families and loved ones, recognizing that healing is strongest when experienced together.
Mental Wellness Integration
We partner with licensed mental health professionals to support a trauma-informed, responsible approach to mental health awareness and care.
